our story
The ideation of Alphi Capital began due to a shared belief by Andrew and Thecla that there was a unique opportunity in the lower middle market in Canada for institutional capital. Andrew and Thecla believed that their experience, combined with a lower market focus, a programmatic approach to value creation and deeper operational capabilities would create a compelling partner for the many business owners facing succession or considering bringing on outside capital. Thecla and Andrew wanted to build a firm built on the principle of inclusive meritocracy and create a culture that would embrace talent and diversity.
